Hi Henry!
Today is your 7 month birthday! You are napping right now and giving me a chance to write a quick update on your growth this past month.
I can't believe how big you are getting! You have definitely started to put on the chunk this month. Your thighs and little belly are quite scrumptious! You have so many more rolls and I love to kiss and squish you!
You LOVE it when Kaelyn and I blow raspberries on your belly. You giggle so much! Your laugh is hysterical. You gasp for air with every breath as if you couldn't even handle how funny it is!
You have tried quite a bit more foods. Your hand eye coordination is much improved and you join us now for family meals! Your favorite is eggs and toast with jam. You love to eat baby puffs and mum mums still, and you also enjoy oatmeal with mama's milk. You don't care much for bananas or squash yet! While you like avocados, you enjoy messing them around on your tray much more! You also love apples and chewing on raw red peppers!
You are pretty much crawling! You get up on all 4's and then launch yourself forward. It's pretty funny. You are able to move in multiple directions and pretty much go where you want to even though it doesn't look like traditional crawling yet! You also do "baby yoga" where you get up in a downward dog position!
You are cutting two more teeth on top right now! You are a little fussier than normal but much less than the other 2 kiddos were when they were teething! It hasn't impacted your sleep too much so mama is thankful for that!
You are doing some pretty solid 4 hour stretches most nights usually going down around 7 or 8 and sleeping until 11pm and 3 or 4 am most nights and then going back down until 6:30 or 7am! Mama is happy with this because I know as you get on more solids you won't need me as much and that is bittersweet for me since you are my last baby!
You are such a happy, content little boy and continue to love to watch your siblings play. Kaelyn is especially fond of you and loves to cuddle/play with you and make you laugh. Sometimes she "babysits" in the next room while I unload the dishwasher or fold laundry She is very responsible and takes good care of you! ;-)
You are very loved baby boy. I can't believe how big you are getting so quickly. Love you, sweet Henry!! You bring us such joy and delight!
