Hi little one!!
You are 4 months old today. Even just looking at the pictures below make me filled with so much emotion. You are just so handsome! I love your baby soft skin, and how delicate and precious you are. I especially love that little puff of hair on the top of your head. I just can't even cut it yet because it's part of your baby hair!! You have the most gorgeous blue eyes, and your personality is so so sweet.
You are learning to grab objects now and it is so fun to watch! You discovered your hands last month, and now this month you actually grab for things! You also love to watch your feet as you kick. It's pretty funny to watch.
You continue to love your play mat and your swing. You have also found your voice this month. You make really loud squeaking noises. Daddy calls you his little bird. I think you sound more like a dolphin! In any case, you definitely like to practice making a lot of noise, especially early in the morning when the other kids are still sleeping! ;-)
You are so close to crawling it's a little bit scary! You don't mind "tummy time" at all, and you can scoot a little bit! You don't have much control as to where you go, but you definitely are moving around! You are realllllly really close to being able to go from your back to your front and you regularly go front to back.
You are waking more frequently at night which is not fun for mommy and Daddy, but I'm not going to say too much about this because all too soon you will be sleeping through the night and trying to go to kindergarten on me!
Your siblings love you, especially Kaelyn. She regularly asks to hold you, and sometimes I ask her to babysit for me if you are fussy and I need to do something. As soon as she is next to you talking to you, you quiet right down! It's quite handy! I don't know what I am going to do without her when she goes to preschool in the fall!
You are quite smiley and you LIGHT UP when someone talks to you and smiles at you.
You have really gotten quite attached to your pacifier this month! You don't want to go to sleep without it now!
You really love walks and bath time! You splash so much in the water that I am usually quite soaked after and need to use a towel to mop up the floor!
Yesterday we dedicated you in front of our church family and agreed to raise you up in the Lord. We are praying for you that you would come to know and love Jesus and that we could be good examples to you. As God fills our hearts with love and joy, we want to pour that out onto you as we raise you and help you to come to an understanding of the Lord as well.
We are SO blessed to have you in our lives and are so thankful for you little Henry!! We love you!
